Today's Weight: 228.4 {-1.4}
Woohoo!! I'm happy with that loss, I didn't exercise much as I would have liked. However, I did keep my calories around 1300 or less. Its a holiday weekend, so I'm going to not count calories today, just for today! I'm going to see SATC 2 with my friend then BBQ later. I'm making empanadas, how can I not indulge in that? lol

Todays Weight: 229.8 thats a total lose of 11lbs..gone for good!
Hello 220’s fancy meeting you here! I cannot believe I am in 220’s! Like 229 is a number I would have never thought I’d see. I guess when you over 300lbs 229 is something you deem as unattainable. But I did it, it may have taken me longer than I would have wanted but I’m here. I’ve had some very trying and stressful weeks, and I’m sure more ahead. I just cannot lose sight of what my goal is..to get fit.
So with 2 months and a couple of weeks to go I am 19lbs closer to my goal! I now realize I have to step up my game..I’ve only lost 11lbs in 2 months. I need 19 in the same amount of time. However, slow and steady wins the race…right?

30 by 30 {week 7}

I've been bad, totally flew off the wagon all last week and this weekend. I kinda did not want to bother getting on the scale for fear that my so close I can taste it 220's where snatched away LOL So I decided, Monday I will start fresh, clean slate. Yeah, that was yesterday and I started off well and didn't end well. I know I'm in a depression funk, I feel it, I see it..I'm trying my best to snap out of it. I'm admitting it so I guess I'm on the road to coming back..right? I woke up this morning feeling so funky..by morning I mean almost 12pm. When I replayed my day Monday I was like..serious Erica WTF is wrong with you! I literally woke up and parked in on the couch all day, even napped here and there. Nothing like feeling like a slub to make you refocus!
My C25K has been put on hold, my knees have been bothering me. I'm afraid of hurting myself cause we don't have insurance yet, so I'm taking it easy with the running. Today I focused on strength training. I'm starting to see some definition under the flab, so I'll focus on toning whatever is hiding underneath. It's quite exciting! I was so shocked when I was cleaning my face the other day I noticed a neck and collar bones. I did not know I had them..never saw them before.
Neck bones is the new motivation! LOL

Fitness did not make it to my Friday..
I started C25K yesterday, well I ended up doing my best version I could remember as the podcast I downloaded didn't make it to my Ipod..so I was timing my 2min jogs. I did pretty well with that aspect, but then with eating UGH!! My TOM needs to end ASAP, at night I turn into the bottomless pit monster and nothing satiates me. I'm afraid to go on scale I feel swollen and bloaty and just plain ole UGH! Today is last day, as I feel my willpower come back LOL So I began today with a healthy smoothie, had my cottage cheese lunch and making a healthy version of Beefaroni for dinner. On top of TOM, there is some added stress around here so Its a miracle I haven't made a giant Red Velvet cake and devoured what I could..LOL
As my special treat I got Yoplait vanilla Whips..OMG it taste like a vanilla milkshake. I tossed one in the freezer to see if it'll magically turn into vanilla ice cream LMAO I need comfort food, but I need to learn not to rely on food for comfort. I think I'll go hug my puppies a lil extra today LOL
Its supposed to be really nice weather wise this weekend. I need to go take pictures or do something creative, after my W1D2 C25K workout! :)

I also changed my playlist so I wont be bored of the same songs. However, I can't "frugally" add new songs because my husband won't let me and I refuse to PAY!! So dam it I will make due with what I have. Since the C25K programs starts off with 30 mins or so I'll see if I can squeeze in another 30 on Elliptical. This week has been hard to stick to a low carb regime, so I think that has stopped. I will see about carb cycling perhaps?

Ooppsie..
I'm sorry your mad at me tum-tum!
I only say that because due to the fact I was a week late with my, girl cycle, I had no will power Day 1 so I ate pretty much whatever was in sight. Crackers cookies etc etc..I tried a triple chocolate cake but my tummy rejected after 2 bites..whew..lol That's what I love about the lap band, I cant ever really over indulge or I'll have no recourse but to slime it back up..not pretty. So here we are day 2 12:30pm and cant even get down 2 spoonful of cottage cheese. My tummy feels full and I'm getting that stuck feeling. I apologize for eating those carbs yesterday...no wonder I feel so blah sluggish today. I will exercise even if its for 20 mins today!
In essence, no matter how good we try to be, life happens. I will not be disappointed and continue a cycle of eating the wrong foods again today. I will start my day right and pick up where I left off. In hindsight, those crackers and cookies really were not worth it. Although the dark chocolate hazelnut bar was..hee hee hee

30 by 30 {week 7}
Todays Weight: 230.6!!
I want to 1st point out results not typical lol However, if your diligent and strong willed you can loose weight fast with low-carbing, add exercise and you'll burn the scale LOL I was only going to pursue this for 5 days, after these results I will stick to this for 2 weeks, so another solid week as true Atkins induction is for 2 weeks. It really was hard at first, but after day 2 mid-day hungries subsided and cravings were almost gone. I had to remind myself to eat lunch as I was just not thinking about food. That is a byproduct of ketosois. My bariatric surgeon had corroborated this, he feels low carbohydrate diet is safe and helps loose weight fast and if kept under control can really help someone stay at a healthy weight. I have a bad sweet tooth, like really bad, so I researched my options, 1 is sugar free jello with whipped cream, totally ok and yum! If your craving a chocolate fix like I was the other night, I scored these awesome Atkins peanut butter cups
I swear they taste like Reese's..I had to check label to be sure!!
I am so excited to be closer to goal #1, its been a long journey and every lb gone brings me closer to that goal!
